Leviathan Lab, an Asian American professional creative studio invested in advancing the careers of Asian American artists, will present its inaugural production, Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT at Arclight Theatre at 152 West 71st Street, Level 1 between Broadway and Columbus Avenues in Manhattan, November 3 - 19 (Thursdays - Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m.; Wednesday, November 16 at 8 p.m.).

The Big Spring Jam is returning to the Tennessee Valley. On Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24, the musical notes of the Big Spring Jam will return to downtown Huntsville.

Created and performed by Ben Spatz, Rite of the Butcher is a visceral fable about the power of fantasy, as told by the Butcher -- refugee, criminal, shaman -- through poetry, martial dance, and folk songs in an invented language. This unique work opens new doors for solo theatre by combining rigorous physical and vocal craft with an investigation of pressing contemporary themes. The 45-minute piece deals with loss, trauma, and the fantasy of revenge while shifting back and forth between the style of a traditional monologue and that of European-style experimental performance. Rite of the Butcher will have its world premiere on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30pm at the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, New York City). Melbourne Fringe comes to The Butterfly Club this month and next.

Erika Amato will replace the previously reported Renee Hermiz in the role of Harriett in Cole Porter's PARIS, set to run at Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble from September 16th through October 3rd. Obie Award winner Barbara Vann directs.

Joe's Pub at The Public Theater debuted in October 1998 and has quickly became one of New York City's most celebrated and in-demand showcase venues for live music and performance. With its genre-blind booking and vast diversity of interests, the stage at Joe's Pub gives voice to a world of varied and stellar artists.

Old Crow Medicine Show is a young five-piece rollicking, punkified old-time acoustic band. Lead vocals are covered by Ketch Secor and Willie Watson, with Watson on guitar and Secor on fiddle and harmonica. Critter Fuqua joins in on vocals and plays banjo and slide guitar. Kevin Hayes plays the guitjo, a six-string banjo that plays like a guitar, once popular in jazz and swing music of the 1920s. Morgan Jahnig beats the doghouse bass.
