Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces the following concerts going on sale this week.

Real-life acting spouses Lindy and Greg Pendzick play a fictional romantic couple in Arlene Hutton's See Rock City, described as "a tender, moving play" that opens at Crossville's Cumberland County Playhouse tonight, May 31.

In celebration of 20 years of creating and performing original multimedia works in and from Pittsburgh, Squonk Opera will be doing 20 free shows all around Pittsburgh this summer, more local shows than they've ever done in a season. They will premiere this next creation - GO Roadshow- at the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival with shows on June 8, 9 and 10.

Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble, one of New York's longest-running experimental theatres, premieres its production of The Beggar's Opera, the original source of The Threepenny Opera in less than three weeks. The production opens tonight, April 27 and closes Saturday, May 19. Performances are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m., with an additional performance Tuesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. There are no performances on Mondays, Thursdays or any other Tuesday.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Massacre (Sing to Your Children), by Obie Award-winning playwright Jose Rivera, directed by Brian Mertes. Performances will begin Wednesday, April 4th at Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry & West 11th Streets). The official opening night is set for Thursday, April 12th. The production is scheduled to run through May 12th.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET music supervisor and acclaimed musician Chuck Mead will be playing a one night only concert March 3 at 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). In addition to Saturday's show at Joe's Pub, Mead will also play Sunday, March 4 at Philadelphia's World Cafe.

Acclaimed British play ‘Foreign Lands' makes its off-Broadway debut for eight performances only at the Medicine Show Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street, November 10th - 13th and November 17th - 20th.

Created and performed by Ben Spatz, Rite of the Butcher is a visceral fable about the power of fantasy, as told by the Butcher -- refugee, criminal, shaman -- through poetry, martial dance, and folk songs in an invented language. This unique work opens new doors for solo theatre by combining rigorous physical and vocal craft with an investigation of pressing contemporary themes. The 45-minute piece deals with loss, trauma, and the fantasy of revenge while shifting back and forth between the style of a traditional monologue and that of European-style experimental performance. Rite of the Butcher will have its world premiere on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30pm at the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, New York City). Leviathan Lab, an Asian American professional creative studio invested in advancing the careers of Asian American artists, will present its inaugural production, Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT at Arclight Theatre at 152 West 71st Street, Level 1 between Broadway and Columbus Avenues in Manhattan, November 3 - 19 (Thursdays - Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m.; Wednesday, November 16 at 8 p.m.).
