Team FUV is once again partnering with NPR Music to broadcast live performances from the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island July 26-28. WFUV's Rita Houston and Alisa Ali will host the coverage, along with Ann Powers and Bob Boilen of NPR Music. The scheduled lineup for the weekend includes favorites The Avett Brothers, Beck, The Lumineers, and Old Crow Medicine Show, as well as up-and-comers The Lone Bellow and Shovels and Rope. Performances from the Newport Folk Festival will air live on 90.7FM and wfuv.org on Friday from 2:30-8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12-8 p.m.

The production opens today, June 7, 2013 and closes Sunday, June 30, 2013. Performances are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 8 p.m. There are no performances on Saturdays.
