Cock, a 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival Community Award nominee for Best Drama, has added four Encore! Producers' Award performances on Friday, July 8, at 8pm; Saturday, July 9, at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, July 10, at 2pm.

First performed at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2011, Cock is the tale of a gay man torn after meeting and falling in love with a woman. Visceral and funny, the play tackles thorny issues rarely seen onstage. Its honest and straightforward exploration of bisexuality suggests that gay or not, people fall in love with those who can give us happiness.

Clearglass Productions has announced a 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival production of Cock by Mike Bartlett. Under the direction of Taubert Nadalini, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Annika Chavez, Dennis Delsing, Mathew Dunlop, and Sean Hemeon. 

After two years of delayed or canceled shows, zoom auditions, and virtual casting, Musical Theatre West will hold the first live, in person auditions of their new season the week of May 10 for their upcoming production of Grease. Auditions and Rehearsals will be held at the MTW's rehearsal hall: 4350 E 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90804. La Mirada will present The Sound of Music beginning in April! The show stars Diane Phelan (Broadway: The King and I & South Pacific at Lincoln Center) as “Maria,” Christopher Carl (Broadway: South Pacific at Lincoln Center, Mamma Mia!) as “Captain von Trapp,” and Grammy nominee Suzanna Guzmán (The King and Iwith Yul Brynner, Bizet’s Carmen) as “Mother Abbess.'

LA MIRADA THEATRE has announced its 2022/2023 season of shows.  They will open with the Southern California premiere of legendary actress Sally Struthers (“All In The Family,” “Gilmore Girls”) starring as “FrauBlücher” in the newly-revised, London version of the monstrously hilarious musical hit, Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.
