Cobb PARKS and the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre are continuing their 2022 concert series with the hit Andrew Lippa musical, THE WILD PARTY. Based on the 1926 poem by Joseph Moncure March, this roaring production features a cast of 13 actors and 9 musicians, and will be available to stream June 17-19.

The Jennie T. Anderson Theatre is back with live, in-theatre shows, starting with CHESS in concert on July 24th. Directed by Lilliangina Quiñones, Artistic Director Jono Davis mentioned in the program that this show came together in just seven days for one night only. A part of the theatre's Overture Series, CHESS has actually been in progress since 2019, but was delayed due to the pandemic.

Nearly seventeen months have passed since the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre has packed its house with an indoor event. With the reopening of venues around the nation, the Anderson Theatre is celebrating its return to form with CHESS, a concert which has not been seen in Atlanta in over twenty years.

Cobb County's biggest holiday event is returning for its 15th anniversary. Through the magic of film making, editing, and social-distancing, the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre will bring patrons a brand new live show while also taking a look back at their favorite performances from the past 14 years.

As a theatre fan, it is rare to watch a musical that I have never listened to before. But when such an occasion presents itself, I jump at the opportunity because there is no better way to experience a show for the first time than to see it professionally.

Children of Eden, a hit musical about love, family and the power of forgiveness, is hitting Aurora Theatre's mainstage from July 18 – September 1! It also hosted Oprah Winfrey and Stacey Abrams in November, with an event that sold out within minutes. Each year, Cobb County PARKS and the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre produces a line-up of varying musical performances for theatre-going patrons.

City Springs Theatre, Atlanta's newest professional theatre company, presents Broadway'sWilliam Michals and Kristine Reese in Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'South Pacific,'the glorious classic that poetically parallels two love stories threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. Day Star Studio Productions Inc. is pleased to accounce the Florida Reigonal premier of Michael John LaChuisa's iconic musical Hello Again. The musical is a neo classical songcycle, Hello Again which premiered at the Lincoln Center in NYC in 1994 and a recent 2017 Indie film including with a star driven cast including Audra McDonald, Martha Plimpton and Cheyenne Jackson, is a cult classic inspired by the provocative and contreversial 1897 literary classic by German playright Arthur Schnitzler 'La Ronde' .

Serenbe Playhouse's 'Season of Change' will conclude with the smash Broadway classic, HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, which defined a generation when it first opened in 1967. Now, 45 years later, Serenbe Playhouse, along with director Brian Clowdus, brings the story to life outdoors in a beautiful, vast Wildflower Meadow as they transport us back in time and remind us of the relevance it's message has today.

Anyone familiar with the Atlanta theatre scene knows that there is as much talent here as in nearly anywhere else in the country, and this summer, Atlanta's 30+ professional theatre companies are putting that talent to use. While there are countless other great productions going on around the city this summer, BWW Atlanta has narrowed it down to six that will surely leave Hotlanta talking well into the winter months.
