Following a hugely successful award-winning online run, which was later broadcast on Sky Arts, Dame Maureen Lipman returns to the title role of Rose for a new production starting on the stage on which it was filmed.

Dame Maureen Lipman and an adaptation of a Christopher Isherwood novel will appear on the Park200 stage in two shows announced for Park Theatre's Summer to Autumn season. Further notable names in the season include House of Cards writer Bill Cain and Olivier Award-winner and The Shark is Broken director Guy Masterson.

From stand-up comedian and TV legend Harry Hill and his long-time collaborator Steve Brown comes the premiere of the rock opera the world has been crying out for: a reckless reappraisal of the life of former Ugly Rumours front man and Britain’s first pop Prime Minister Tony Blair. 

From the writer of Three Days In May (WhatsOnStage Best New Play Award) and A Splinter of Ice and acclaimed director Alan Strachan comes the world premiere of a tense new drama based on an astonishing true story.

Vicky Hawkins has been announced as the new Executive Director of Park Theatre, taking the reins from Rachael Williams who was in the role for five years. A Haringey resident, Vicky joins Park Theatre from the National Theatre where she was Head of Producing. 

By popular demand an extra date has been added to the run of Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 2 at Park Theatre. A 3pm matinee on Tuesday 8th March was put on sale this morning and is the only date now available in the otherwise sold out run (except for £10 day seats released at 10am on show days).

Park Theatre  has announced Anthony Clare as the new Chair of the Board, taking over from Nigel Pantling who has been in the role for seven years. Anthony joins the board alongside existing board members Kurt Barling, Hedda Beeby, Andrew Cleland-Bogle, Jonathan Edwards, Bharat Mehta, Rufus Olins, Jo Parker, Victoria Phillips and Julia Tyrell.

Park Theatre has today announced the full line up of almost 40 celebrities who will take to the Park200 stage this February and March – completely unrehearsed – to play the Inspector in a farcical whodunnit.

On Sunday, the West End Calling Grand Finals took over the Charing Cross Theatre for the day, where 28 young performers from all over the country came together to perform in the two shows - the Junior Final and the Senior Final.

Five Little Monkeys returns with a special Christmas-themed show for 2 – 6 year olds. Created by the team behind the hit family show Dogs Don't Do Ballet, this enlivening show introduces children to a thumping soundtrack of musical styles ranging from dub reggae to rap and classical ballet.

Making his stage debut Outlander's John Bell (Outlander, The Hobbit, Wrath of the Titans) has been cast in multi award-winning Off-Broadway hit The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me by David Drake.  

Olivier Award-winner John Dagleish stars as Bob Cratchit in an astute rewriting of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, having previously played the character in Jack Thorne's adaption of the show at the Old Vic in 2017. Alexander Knott's Cratchit reimagines the well-loved tale of Ebenezer Scrooge from the perspective of Bob Cratchit.

Inspired by the storytelling traditions of the West African griot, Sold tells the forgotten true story of Mary Prince, a woman born into the slavery in the British colony of Bermuda who went on to become an auto-biographer and champion of freedom.
