Ragtime is now in previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and, to commemorate its return to Broadway, the cast will visit The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next week for a special performance from the award-winning musical.

Charity Angél Dawson has withdrawn from the Broadway revival of Ragtime due to an injury. The Waitress star was due to begin rehearsals for Lincoln Center's upcoming production of the musical, but has since dropped out after the injury has flared up.

Open-Door Playhouse has announced the premiere of 2064: A Gays Odd-essy, a futuristic family drama by Lorenz Qatava, debuting online June 18, 2025. This sci-fi-inspired audio play is directed by Bernadette Armstrong, founder of Open-Door Playhouse.
