Stephen Daldry has won the 2020 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play for THE INHERITANCE.

This upcoming season, Live at The Lortel looks at the intersection between art and activism. We honor the work of theater artists who boldly use their public platform for philanthropy, to advance the state of theater, and to support the issues that they are passionate about. We look to explore how an artist's passion for activism and philanthropy influences their artistry on the stage.

Florida Studio Theatre has announced the lineup for its 48th Winter Season, featuring a four-show Mainstage Series and a three-show Cabaret Series. The Mainstage Series features one of the most successful Rock & Roll musicals of all time, an Olivier Award-winning comedy, a World Premiere, and an Off-Broadway hit. The Cabaret Series features two all-new musical revues celebrating the lyric poets of the 20th century day followed by a political satire-inspired comedy set to music.

 International City Theatre is back in full force with a complete season of five in-person plays scheduled for 2022. The season kicks off in February with Marry Me A Little. 

The 2021 BorderLight International Theatre + Fringe Festival announces the lineup for the 2021 BorderLight VIRTUAL Fringe Festival, which includes 33 distinct live streamed and on-demand virtual works, interactive and genre-bending online experiences, as well as self-guided audio adventures.
