e2e Treks - Hiking the Divide to Unite has announced a special streaming event benefitting The Actors Fund, 'How History, Location and Adversity Inform, Inspire and Influence Theatre' with various cast and creative team members of Broadway's Allegiance on Monday, September 28 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT.

THE GREEN ROOM 42, Broadway's Funky New Cabaret Club, presents BUCK FIFTY: LYRICS I WROTE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MY 40s, an evening celebrating the last ten years of shows and songs by award-winning writer Sammy Buck.

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presented the 2019 installment of the celebrated concert series NEO, featuring works by new/emerging/outstanding musical theatre writersAmanda D'Archangelis & Sami Horneff, Julian Hornik, Janine McGuire & Arri Lawton Simon, and Madeline Myers. In addition to these six writers, this year's NEO of the Future program showcased two songs by writers who are currently undergraduate students: Sarah Kaufman, a senior at CAP21/Molloy College, and Caleb Smith, a junior at Penn State.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, has announced, today, Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina of The Skivvies will host, with their clothes on, the 2019 installment of the celebrated concert series NEO, featuring works by new/emerging/outstanding musical theatre writers Amanda D'Archangelis & Sami Horneff, Julian Hornik, Janine McGuire & Arri Lawton Simon, and Madeline Myers.

The York Theatre Company welcomed specials guests Richard Maltby, Jr., Edward Hibbert, Bill Condon, original cast member and choreographer Dan Siretta, and member from the London John Barry Foundation to a recent performance of the 25th Anniversary Musicals in Mufti presentation of  the NY premiere of Lolita, My Love, with music by John Barry and book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, as edited by Erik Haagensen.  Directed by Emily Maltby and with music direction by Deniz Cordell, the 13-member cast features George Abud (The Band's Visit)as Clare Quilty, Caitlin Cohn (The Secret Garden) as Dolores "Lolita" Haze, Robert Sella (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Humbert Humbert, Thursday Farrar (Aida) as Dr. June Ray, and Jessica Tyler Wright (Sweeney Todd) as Charlotte Haze, with Becca Fox (Singin' in the Rain), Hanako Greensmith (Spring Awakening), Victoria Huston-Elem (Finding Neverland), Jay Aubrey Jones (Assassins), Kennedy Kanagawa (Into the Woods), Max Meyers (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), Mark Montague (A Very Brady Musical), and Analise Scarpaci (Matilda, The Musical).

The York Theatre Company concludes its 25th Anniversary of its acclaimed Musicals in Mufti series celebrating the work of the legendary librettist and lyricist Alan Jay Lerner with the third show in the 2019 Winter series the NY premiere of the Lolita, My Love, with music by John Barry and book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, as edited by Erik Haagensen. Casting is now complete for A New York City staged reading of A Very Brady Musical, a new musical based on the iconic 1970's television show The Brady Bunch, which will be directed by multiple Ovation Award winner Richard Israel.

Composer Dan Furman has reworked his first musical, Impossible But True, and is preparing to present it starting in April - first in Brooklyn then across the river in Manhattan.

The Workshop Theater - 312 West 36th Street, 4th floor - will present a concert reading of a new musical this Sunday, January 7th, at 6pm.
