Weathervane Theatre will present its inaugural holiday season this Sunday, December 10 through Sunday, December 17.

Weathervane Theatre has announced the cast for its inaugural holiday season this December. Featuring four veterans of the Weathervane stage, the holiday season company will perform two productions—Who's Holiday! and Winter Wonderettes—in alternating rep over the course of one week in three locations.

Broadway performer Valerie Wright will step into the principal role of Mary Charles in Weathervane Theatre's world premiere of Primary, a new play by Kelly Strandemo. She replaces Deborah Osborne who is currently out due to illness.

The Weathervane Theatre  will present Steve Martin’s zany new comedy Meteor Shower. The production will play in alternating repertory, starting Wednesday, July 26, through August 26, 2023.

From the creator of The Marvelous Wonderettes, Weathervane Theatre will present the country jukebox musical comedy Honky Tonk Laundry by Roger Bean. The production will play in alternating repertory, starting Monday, July 3, through August 3, 2023. It is sponsored by Scott Hunt in memory and celebration of Kathy Meddings.

In all, this new BABY from Out Of The Box Theatricals is a fine 40th Birthday present for the old BABY.

The next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast, hosted by Rob Morrison on 96.5 FM on Tuesday, February 7 will mark the 40th anniversary year of the David Shire and Richard Maltby Jr. musical BABY from the 2022 Out of the Box Theatrics Off-Broadway cast recording starring Julia Murney, Christina Sajous, Gabrielle McClinton, Johnny Link, Liz Flemming and Robert H. Fowler with Ethan Paulini, Jewell Noel, Jorge Donoso and Marisa Kirby (prior to its general release on 13 February.)
