Arizona Opera announced casting today for their vibrant 2022/23 Season, which will feature an exciting array of productions, ranging from beloved classics to new works, including a return to five in-theater shows in both Phoenix and Tucson.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC's built-in charm and charisma is indeed very much present in McCoy Rigby Entertainment's latest stage iteration of this classic stage production, now playing at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts through May 15, 2022. Filled with visually-captivating production values, a gorgeous-sounding orchestral sound, and an overall, infectiously winning spirit, this new production is a fun, pleasantly nostalgic throwback to the old-fashioned Broadway book musical.

Music Mountain Theatre's 2022 season continues as the Roger & Hammerstein classic, The Sound of Music, takes the stage on weekends from April 1 through 24. Show times are Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM & 8 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.

The Virginia Arts Festival has announced the complete cast for The Sound of Music, co-produced by the Festival and the Virginia Opera May 13-15 at the Harrison Opera House.

“The hills are alive…” as The Salem Central School Drama Club proudly presents The Sound of Music December 3-5th as the school's annual musical. The iconic story, with music Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, features over 30 students onstage and backstage, marking the first school musical since 2019. Tickets must be reserved in advance and are available online now.

For more than 50 years The Sound Of Music has been delighting audiences all over the world and will come back to the StoryBook stage for another visit this holidays season.  The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars.

The Sound of Music will be performed at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre beginning next week. Performances will run November 19th – December 19th, 2021.

The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

The Muny's The Sound of Music, the second show of the theatre's 103rd season is running now through August 9, 2021.
