What did our critic think of THE LOOK OF LOVE at Eisenhower Theater?

Mark Morris and Ethan Iverson join creative forces for the world premiere of The Look of Love: An Evening of Dance to the Music of Burt Bacharach October 20, 2022 at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage. The Mark Morris Dance Group (costumed in Isaac Mizrahi) will be accompanied by their MMDG Music Ensemble (led by Ethan) with lead vocals by Broadway star Marcy Harriell. Ethan found some time between rehearsals to answer a few of my queries.

Co-commissioned by BroadStage, the world premiere of Mark Morris Dance Group's The Look of Love, an evening of dance to the music of Burt Bacharach, will take place at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage on Thursday, October 20 and go through Sunday, October 23. This performance is in honor of Isabelle Stevenson.

The illustrious Mark Morris Dance Group returns to the Eisenhower stage with Morris's newest evening-length work, a Kennedy Center co-commission, The Look of Love, October 26–29 in the Eisenhower Theater.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.

I'm Still Here, a new virtual benefit for The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Billy Rose Theatre Division, will stream on Broadway On Demand on June 23. The evening is a celebration of the division's 90th Anniversary, and the 50th  Anniversary of its beloved Theatre on Film and Tape Archive and will honor Harold Prince and George C. Wolfe.
