The strictly limited 16-week engagement of Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog celebrates its opening night on Broadway tonight!

It's a big night at the Golden Theatre! Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog officially opens on Broadway. BroadwayWorld will be on the red carpet for the big night. Tune in at 6pm to watch live!

The official film poster for Disney's upcoming The Little Mermaid live action remake has been released. The photo features a new look at Halle Bailey as Ariel. The movie will also star Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Awkwafina as Scuttle, and more.

WICKED celebrates its 16th birthday tonight at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre and has announced a 34th booking extension. 500,000 new tickets are now on public sale for all performances until Sunday 26 November 2023.

The 20th Anniversary Production of SUZAN-LORI PARKS' Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, TOPDOG/UNDERDOG, will offer a limited number of tickets via digital lottery and in-person rush starting Tuesday, September 27.

WICKED will welcome back Mark Curry as 'The Wizard' from Tuesday 18 October 2022. Gary Wilmot will play his final performance as 'The Wizard' at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on Sunday 16 October 2022.

Rachel Zegler will be joined in the upcoming film by Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen and Tony-winner Andrew Burnap as a new male lead character. Last week, Gadot and Zegler appeared at Disney's D23 Expo to give audiences a first look at the upcoming film. A release date was also set for Mufasa, a new prequel to The Lion King.

Good news! The Broadway and national touring companies of Wicked are looking for their new stars. The Telsey Office just announced that they will hold an open call for singers in Atlanta, Georgia on September 22, 2022. Performers of all ethnicities and gender identities are welcome to audition.

WICKED, the West End and Broadway musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, yesterday (31 August 2022) welcomed its 11 millionth theatregoer to London's Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Attracting audiences to downtown Minneapolis, WICKED flew back for its sixth visit to Minneapolis, playing the historic Orpheum Theatre from July 27 to Aug. 28, 2022. The five-week engagement kicked off the 2022-2023 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season welcoming more than 100,000 patrons to the theatre and generating a local economic impact of $30.9 million.

Hennepin Theatre Trust, PNC Bank, Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) and YMCA are teaming up in the spirit of WICKED to do “good” for students in need across Minnesota when the Broadway sensation returns to Minneapolis to kick off the 2022-2023 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season July 27 to Aug. 28, 2022 at the historic Orpheum Theatre.

Stephen Schwartz has shared his thoughts on the decision to release the Wicked film in two parts. Schwartz seemingly confirmed that the first Wicked film will end after 'Defying Gravity,' the stage musical's act one finale. Schwartz assured fans that any changes made to Wicked will be done so to add something new to the story.

Good news! The Broadway blockbuster WICKED has announced that the Live Lottery will return to the Gershwin Theatre for Summer 2022. Broadway’s only in-person lottery will open two and a half hours before each performance begins in the Gershwin Theatre breezeway.
