THE MINUTES on Broadway announced today that from a portion of tickets sales $78,830 has been raised thus far to support global humanitarian organization Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

Steppenwolf’s production of Tracy Letts’ new play THE MINUTES begins performances tomorrow, Saturday, April 2, with an official opening night set for Sunday, April 17 on Broadway at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street).

Head Over Heels is the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening. This laugh-out-loud love story is set to the music of the iconic 1980's all-female rock band The Go-Go's, including the hit songs, 'We Got the Beat,' 'Our Lips Are Sealed,' 'Vacation,' 'Heaven is a Place on Earth' and 'Mad About You.' The producers and company of Steppenwolf’s production of THE MINUTES on Broadway announced today that a portion of ticket sales will go to support global humanitarian organization Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

Steppenwolf’s production of The Minutes will now begin previews on Broadway on  Saturday, April 2, 2022, and open on Sunday, April 17, 2022. The play was previously scheduled to resume performances at Studio 54 on March 19, 2022, and open on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Steppenwolf’s production of The Minutes, the new American play by Tracy Letts, directed by Anna D. Shapiro has announced the complete cast for when performances resume on Broadway on March 19, 2022. Noah Reid (Emmy Award-winning Schitt’s Creek) will join original Broadway company members.

The “Spotlight on Plays” series announced a new special event reading of John C. Russell’s STUPID KIDS starring John Clay III (Jim Stark), Tony Award nominee Lauren Patten (Jane “Kimberly” Willis), Tony Award winner Ali Stroker(Judy Noonan), Taylor Trensch (John “Neechee” Crawford)& Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Stage Directions).

The production was originally set to open on March 15, 2020. The cast for the 2022 production will be announced soon. Learn more here!

The “Spotlight on Plays” series will conclude on Thursday, June 17 with Sarah Ruhl’s Dear Elizabeth starring Academy Award winners Kevin Kline and Meryl Streep with stage directions voiced by Polly Noonan.  Dear Elizabeth will premiere on Thursday, June 17 at 8PM EST/5PM PST and will be available for a limited time only.

Broadway’s Best Shows musical extravaganza “Show of Titles” will premiere on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 7pm ET and be available for four days only.  The show features dozens of Broadway stars performing the title songs from over 20 beloved musicals.

The “Spotlight on Plays” series just announced the full company for Wendy Wasserstein’s The Sisters Rosensweig starring Jason Alexander, John Behlmann, Lisa Edelstein, Kathryn Hahn, Kathryn Newton, Tracee Chimo Pallero, Chris Perfetti and James Urbaniak.

The “Spotlight on Plays” series has announced Emmy Award winner Eric McCormack and Brandon Burton will join previously announced star Mary-Louise Parker in Paula Vogel’s The Baltimore Waltz, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz.  The Baltimore Waltz will premiere on Thursday, April 29 at 8PM EST/5PM PST and will be available for a limited time only.

The spring “Spotlight on Plays” series will soon welcome six celebrated, award-winning actresses. Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn & SAG nominee Carla Gugino will star in Watch on the Rhine, Emmy Award winner Kathryn Hahn will star in The Sisters Rosenweig, Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will star in Ohio State Murders, Tony Award winner Mary-Louise Parker will star in The Baltimore Waltz and Academy Award winner Meryl Streep will star in Dear Elizabeth.
