Drury Lane Theatre has announced its 2023/2024 season, which opens with Grease, followed by the riotous whodunit The 39 Steps. The season continues with Ring of Fire, featuring the music of Johnny Cash, the magical family-favorite Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and the celebrated classic Fiddler on the Roof.

'Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience,' blasts off in Bangor for a 'one-night only' concert event on Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage of Husson University's Gracie Theatre. The concert and the 2022-2023 season are sponsored in part by Bangor Savings Bank.

Wolfe whose Day of Absence (1965) and The Colored Museum (1986) lampooned white dominance with comedy both uproarious and bitter, and so does this show. It's good to have the real, live, three-dimensional exchange that only theatre provides. No disrespect, Dear White People, Get Out, Sorry to Bother You, and the canon of Spike Lee.

Joey McIntyre and drag icon Jujubee have joined the cast of DRAG: The Musical, returning to The Bourbon Room in Hollywood, with performances running September 23-October 15, 2022.

The National touring production of Remembering James - The Life and Music of James Brown will not reopen and continue its theatrical tour as a result of the National and industry wide inflation. The production's final performance was Saturday evening May 14th In Atlanta, GA following 6 previews and 68 regular performances. Guests holding tickets for Remembering James who purchased via Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically within 30 days. The Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Hall of Fame has announced its 2022 class featuring eight legends of the local music scene. The group will be inducted during an induction ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Universal Preservation Hall, home of the Eddies Music Hall of Fame.

After two years of delayed or canceled shows, zoom auditions, and virtual casting, Musical Theatre West will hold the first live, in person auditions of their new season the week of May 10 for their upcoming production of Grease.
