The run of the national tour of Hamilton in San Antonio has been postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 surge.

It’s happening Dear Readers, it’s really happening! Theaters are starting to open back up. Well, they started last fall but now, with the new year, they’re really coming back strong. And so I thought we’d take a look at the Top 10 shows I’m looking forward to this year.

Eleri Ward will celebrate her hit album A Perfect Little Death from GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS with two special concerts at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in New York this season. Bucks County Playhouse will present the hit musical comedy Spamilton: An American Parody from January 28-30, 2022. The show is presented as part of the Bucks County Playhouse Visiting Artists Series. Tickets are now on sale.

Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter to share eight playlists he curated of pre-show music for the Broadway run of Freestyle Love Supreme.

Allan, along with his late wife Nanette, and daughter Julie, created the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation following the playwright’s death in 1996. From 1997 to 2008, the foundation awarded grants to musical theatre composers, lyricists and book writers. Following the 2008 grants, the program was shifted to the American Theatre Wing, where it continues as the Jonathan Larson Grants.
