Summer kicks off in style on London's stage, with the return of Andy Karl in the Old Vic's Groundhog Day, to the West End transfers of Peter Morgan's latest play and the arrival of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning big, Black, and queer American musical, A Strange Loop.

The first casting announcement has been revealed for the anticipated Australian production of 2:22 - A Ghost Story, with one of Australia's most highly regarded leading actors, Daniel MacPherson, confirmed to play the role of 'Ben'.

An additional 10 venues have been announced for the UK tour of the critically acclaimed, smash hit, supernatural thriller 2:22 - A Ghost Story. 

Rehearsals began today (3 May 2023) for the West End premiere of Martin McDonagh’s Olivier Award-winning The Pillowman. To mark the start of rehearsals, a set of specially commissioned photographs of Lily Allen and Steve Pemberton by acclaimed British photographer Rankin have been released.

Following the announcement of the sixth cast for 2:22 A Ghost Story, Producer Runaway Entertainment has released photos from rehearsals ahead of the first preview on 14 May.

Musical Theatre Network, Mercury Musical Developments and Oxford Playhouse has announced details of the 29 musicals that will be showcased in BEAM2023.  

The critically acclaimed, smash hit, supernatural thriller 2:22 - A Ghost Story will transfer theatres for a record-breaking 5th time  - and its sixth season - to The Apollo Theatre, where it will play a 18 week season beginning on 14 May 2023.

Paul Kaye and Matthew Tennyson will join the cast of Martin McDonagh’s electrifying and savagely funny Olivier Award-winning The Pillowman to play Ariel and Michal, respectively. They join the previously announced Lily Allen as Katurian and Steve Pemberton as Tupolski.

Co-written with Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue, David Guetta, Galantis) and Lewis Thompson (Anne-Marie, Little Mix, Steve Aoki), the track opens on a gut-punch of a lyric that perfectly showcases the strength and full-force personality of Muller’s songwriting. The track was released with an accompanying video.

Following an extensive search headed by 2023 partners the global music management and publishing company TaP Music, the BBC can confirm that singer-songwriter Mae Muller will be representing the United Kingdom at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, set to be held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine, in May 2023 with 'I Wrote A Song'.

The critically acclaimed, smash hit, supernatural thriller 2:22 - A Ghost Story will embark on an extensive UK-wide tour, opening at Bath Theatre Royal on 1 September 2023, and continuing through to May 2024 with the full tour schedule to be announced soon.
