Hache Producciones presents Susana Hornos' solo performance on November 17th at 7 pm at the United Solo Festival - Theatre Row.

Prior to this week’s arrival of the film-inspired musical PRETTY WOMAN to Proctors, I spoke with Adam Pascal, who previously played the role of Edward on Broadway, and is currently playing the role again on tour. His career includes some memorable movie and theater credits, including the distinguished role of Roger in the Broadway and cinema favorite, RENT.

Five artists have been selected as recipients of the Cisneros Fontanals Art  Foundation (CIFO) Awards, marking the 20th anniversary of the Foundation and its 17thiteration of the initiative.

Film Mode Entertainment (FME) has announced the AFM world market premiere of the new crime heist comedy THREE DAY MILLIONAIRE. The film stars Colm Meaney (Star Trek: Deep Space 9, Layer Cake,), Jonas Armstrong (Edge of Tomorrow), Robbie Gee (Snatch, Small Axe), James Burrows (This is England) & Lauren Foster.

THE ART OF THE BRICK— a captivating exhibition featuring intriguing works of art by renowned contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya—is set to return to Boston following sold-out crowds in Faneuil Hall in 2014, this time taking residency in Boston on Newbury Street on Friday, November 18, 2022 through Sunday, April 23, 2022. 

Northlight Theatre will continue its 2022–2023 season with Georgiana & Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, directed by Marti Lyons. The production runs November 25 – December 24, 2022.

The Joyce Theater Foundation has announced the return of Dorrance Dance to Chelsea’s home for dance. The extended two-week engagement will play The Joyce Theater from December 7-18. 

Macabea is a Brazil’s Northeastern migrant whose life is marked by the absence of affection and poetry. Her story is told by an actress, who decides to narrate her life in an exercise in alterity. Critical and public success, the musical stars Laila Garin, Claudia Ventura and Leonardo Miggiorin with original score by Chico Cesar.

Next up at Laguna Playhouse, Love Among the Ruins world premieres October 30, 2022 (with previews starting October 26th). Michael Arabian directs the stellar cast of JoBeth Williams and Peter Strauss in this adaptation of the 1975 ABC Theatre Presentation that starred Katherine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier. Peter graciously found some time between rehearsals and his orange farm to answer a few of my queries.
