After producing on May 7 a cabaret variety show fundraiser for 2026 Midterm Democratic Congress candidates, Stephen Hanks has announced the cast for the second of four PROJECT 2026: BLUE TSUNAMI shows.

Stephen DeAngelis will present the 196th edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE…, spotlighting understudies from RAGTIME, BEACHES, THE WILD PARTY, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, and GODDESS at The Green Room 42.

The world premiere production of Girls Just Want To Have Fun, a new musical inspired by the cult-classic film written by Amy Spies and featuring a score of 1980s chart-toppers, will play Pittsburgh Playhouse’s PNC Theatre from November 11-22, 2026.

AT THIS PERFORMANCE… will return to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys, Understudies and Alternates from Wicked; Chess; The Outsiders; Operation Mincemeat; Bigfoot! A New Musical; Going Bachrach: The Songs Of An Icon, and About Time.

The LDK Writers’ Residency at CAM Studios has announced its inaugural cohort. The New York program supports new plays and musicals in development. The residency provides studio space for playwrights and composers.

54 Below will present 2025 Wrapped on December 8, bringing together Broadway performers for an evening highlighting the music and artists that defined the year.

The Hermitage Artist Retreat’s “Hermitage Sunsets @ Selby Gardens” series will continue November 20, 2025, with An Evening of Scenes & Songs at Historic Spanish Point in Osprey, Florida.

Robinson’s adaptation sticks to the development of the characters and deletes some unnecessary filler. Set in Nina Ball’s excellently appointed 5 & Dime during a drought, the once thriving town is now a dried-up skeleton, and the women brought together for their reunion are all caught up in the divergence between present realities and memories of 1955.
