Every theatre student is always told to read more plays, but oftentimes, it's difficult to find something that holds our attention or seems right for us. After examining this trend among my fellow college theatre students for some time, I started to cobble together a list of play recommendations specifically tailored towards something all of us are very interested in: our zodiac signs! Now, I (a Scorpio) have offered a play recommendation for each of the twelve signs based on what I think they need most, so find your sun sign, check out the description, and happy play reading!

The Phoenix Theatre Company's seasonwill kick off in August and includes nine shows ranging from classic musicals like A Chorus Line and family favorites like Cinderella to the world-premiere of Tiananmen.

Theatre Communications Group has announced the recipients of the second round of the 2021-22 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $731,000, allow 16 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.

Prologue Theatre is returning to the Atlas Performing Arts Center April 28 - May 22, 2022 with The Revolutionists, Lauren Gunderson's dive into the French Revolution and Reign of Terror telling the tale of four very real women. It is a true story that is also fiction, and also a play about a play.
