What Will the Neighbors Say? presented an invitation-only sharing of Co-Artistic Director Ana Cristina Da Silva's play 'The Chickens Have Come Home to Roost' on Saturday April 9th at Alchemical Studios in Manhattan.

The Neighbors will first produce a movement and intimacy workshop in New York City in April, before pairing with frequent collaborators Catskill Mountain Shakespeare to co-produce a script workshop in Phoenicia in May.

The Flea Theater announced today SERIALS @ The Flea: ONLINE!, a spinoff of the organization's popular late-night episodic show will feature five all-new plays specifically created for digital viewing. SERIALS will be available on Saturday, April 25 at 9:00 PM on the Flea's Instagram and YouTube channels.

The Flea Theater will extend three acclaimed productions in MAC WELLMAN: PERFECT CATASTROPHES. This festival of plays by the influential vanguard playwright Mac Wellman runs through November 1. The final two plays in the festival -- a double bill of short one-acts The Sandalwood Box and The Fez -- open on October 5; and The Art of Stacking the Deck: A Mac Wellman Symposium exploring Wellman's profound impact on the American theater runs October 4 a?" 6.

The Flea Theater is proud to announce the addition of six new Resident Directors to its intensive practicum for early-career directors. Rebecca Aparicio, Jake Beckhard, Daniella Caggiano, Lauren DeLeon, Will Steinberger, and Raz Golden will join the current group of Resident Directors. 

The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director; Caitlin Wees, Associate Artistic Director) and INTAR (Lou Moreno, Artistic Director; John McCormack, Executive Director) continue their acclaimed collaboration with The 7th Annual INTAR One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit UNIT 52, INTAR's training program for emerging artists. After seven years of partnership that celebrates Latinx ideas and narratives, the festival welcomes the next generation of 1MPF artists, who join some of our alumni cohort.
