The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization announced today the launch of their new YouTube live stream series, R&H Goes Live!, a spinoff of their existing R&H Goes Pop! video series. The ongoing series will feature some of Broadway's best performing stripped-down, contemporary versions of iconic Rodgers & Hammerstein tunes.

While all non-essential businesses have closed, Birdland owner Gianni Valenti has been hard at work, preparing for the inevitable day when the legendary Manhattan hotspot will reopen for the throng of fans who call Birdland home.

Bridge to Broadway, an online training platform matches musical theatre up-and-comers with seasoned Broadway professionals. 

On August 19, 2007, Grease was the word for the third time in Broadway history. The revival opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre following a nation-wide search for its leading players on NBC's You're the One That I Want, throwing winners Laura Osnes and Max Crumm into the Broadway spotlight. Bandstand follows the story of veterans' home from World War II as they try to qualify for a music competition. The group becomes the Donny Nova band and intends to win the competition and dedicate it to the veterans that defended the United States. It is very appropriate for the show to come to Jacksonville, FL as we have not one, but two naval bases. You could feel the theater become heavy with an array of emotions as audience members were transported to this time period and watched these characters portray very real post-war circumstances.
