On Sunday night, stars including Lea Michele, Alan Cumming and Darren Criss gathered in Central Park's SummerStage to perform songs from the stage and screen at Elsie Fest - the first outdoor music festival for show tunes. The stars and VIP guests enjoyed the show backstage while sipping on Kim Crawford Wines.

Broadway Records has released 'More Than Me,' a single from Michael Mott's newly released album, Abandoned Heart, as a benefit single for Puerto Rico.

On Tuesday, October 10th, Broadway Backstory podcast tells the story of how BONNIE & CLYDE, the 2011 musical by Frank Wildhorn, Don Black, and Ivan Menchell made it to Broadway. 'Broadway Backstory' is a documentary-style podcast in which each episode finds out how a show develops from an idea to a full Broadway production. This episode of the podcast charts the show's journey from a Wildhorn-helmed concept album for Atlantic Records starring Linda Eder, to an out of town hit, to a Broadway flop.

On Monday, October 9, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway and TV star Hlene Yorke. Helene made her Broadway debut in 2008 in GREASE. She went on to originate the role of Olive in BULLETS OVER BROADWAY and Evelyn in AMERICAN PSYCHO. On television, she is well known for her work on THE GOOD FIGHT, MASTERS OF SEX, and GRAVES.

On Monday, October 2, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan. Jeremy Jordan made his Broadway debut in 2009's ROCK OF AGES. He went on to play the Tony alternate, appearing twice per week, in the 2009 revival of WEST SIDE STORY. In 2011 he originated the role of Clyde Barrow in BONNIE AND CLYDE. And he received his first Tony nomination for originating the role of Jack Kelly in 2011's NEWSIES.

Laura Osnes at Cafe Carlyle last night was acting and singing a few feet away from all of us in The Carlyle's legendary living room with her show called Cockeyed Optimists and as they say, you had to see it to believe it . Together with Ted Sperling and Laura's special guest Ryan Silverman they created The World of Rodgers and Hammerstein and it probably would be nominated for a Tony Award if it were in a theatre. So if you can join them, like all good hosts they are going to make sure there's plenty of good food, wine and conversation during your visit.
