ContemporaryMusicalTheatre.com is producing a 70-minute virtual concert on Thursday, April 30 at 8 PM (EST) featuring live performances by Broadway performers and songwriters alike as a benefit for Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP).

Co-authors David Sisco and Laura Josepher have published the second edition of their well-reviewed book, Mastering College Musical Theatre Auditions: Sound Advice for the Student, Teacher, and Parent, available on Amazon.com.

Unifieds (officially National Unified Auditions) are a musical theatre audition held every year in several cities around the country where multiple colleges, universities, and conservatories hold auditions over two to three days for their incoming classes.

David Sisco and Laura Josepher, owners of ContemporaryMusicalTheatre.com, will present a free masterclass, followed by signing copies of their book, "Mastering College Musical Theatre Auditions: Sound Advice for Students, Teachers, and Parents" at Drama Book Shop's Arthur Seelen Theatre (250 W. 40th Street) on Saturday, September 22 from 2-4 PM.

The 2017-2018 Hoff-Barthelson Music School Master Class Series concludes with jazz great Gary Smulyan. Mr. Smulyan will coach HBMS jazz students on Sunday, May 6, 2018, beginning at 12 noon at the Jazz Forum, 1 Dixon Lane, Tarrytown. The public is invited to observe the Master Class free of charge.

The 2017-2018 Hoff-Barthelson Music School Master Class Series continues with New York Philharmonic flutist Yoobin Son. Ms. Son will coach HBMS flute students on Friday, May 4, 2018, beginning at 7:30 pm at Hoff-Barthelson Music School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale. The public is invited to observe the Master Class free of charge.

The 2017-2018 Hoff-Barthelson Music School Master Class Series continues with one of the leading interpreters of great classical masterworks, violinist Rachel Barton Pine. Ms. Barton Pine will coach HBMS violin students on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 12:30 pm, at Hoff-Barthelson Music School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale. The public is invited to observe the Master Class free of charge. Later that evening, Ms. Pine will perform at the School's Spring Benefit as guest soloist where she will be joined by students from the School's Honors Program in a dynamic performance of "Summer" from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons."

The concert is set for Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 9:30pm and will feature, under Josepher's direction, Ta'Rea Campbell (Hamilton, Sister Act), Alexandra Foucard (Les Mis rables, Guys and Dolls), Amy Justman (Carousel, A Gentleman's Guide ), Kevin Massey (A Gentlemen's Guide , Memphis) and Dennis Stowe (Aladdin, Annie), along with Wagner College Theatre students Alexis Eldredge and Harper Levy on backup vocals.
