With an eye toward the future, Seattle Rep today announced the largest playwright commission project of the organization's history. After what has and continues to be a relentless year for the arts, Seattle Rep plants seeds for the future of the industry by devising an ambitious commission project featuring three initiatives: 20x30: Reimagining the Anthropocene, a program that will commission 20 playwrights; New Directions, a program that will commission directors each year; and the launch of a commissioning program for Seattle Rep's Public Works.

L.A. Theatre Works has announced a 2020-21 Digital Season of nine plays. All plays in the 2020-21 season are being recorded in-studio, using state-of-the-art technology. L.A. Theatre Works is the world's leading producer of audio theater. Each of the recordings will include bonus features, such as interviews with the playwrights and more.
Company of Fools Presents THE THANKSGIVING PLAY

Company of Fools (CoF) will present a rehearsed reading of 'The Thanksgiving Play' by Larissa FastHorse. So that the community can participate in-person or virtually, CoF will offer two in-person readings at the historic Liberty Theatre on Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. along with simultaneous livestreams.

Today, American Conservatory Theater announced the lineup that will make up the 2020-21 season for the acclaimed Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program.
