Last night at the Minskoff Theatre, The Lion King celebrated a huge milestone- 20 years on Broadway. Creative team members Julie Taymor, Tim Rice, Garth Fagan, Lebo M., Mark Mancina, Roger Allers, and Irene Mecchi joined hundreds of alumni and others for a special performance of the show, culminating in a surprise performance by The Lion King's Tony-nominated composer Elton John.
Paper Mill Playhouse, by special arrangement with Jeffrey Finn, presents the world-premiere production of the new musical comedy The Honeymooners, based on the CBS television series, with book by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss, music by Stephen Weiner, and lyrics by Peter Mills.

Just last night, the American Theatre Wing honored legendary Tony Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson at its annual gala at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South). Tony Award winners Cynthia Erivo and Adriane Lenox, as well as Tony Award nominees Danielle Brooks and Saycon Sengbloh performed for the special night.
Just last night, Broadway's best came out for a special screening of Florence Foster Jenkins. Hosted by Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, Patina Miller, Matthew Morrison, and Max von Essen, the evening celebrated Paramount's new film, which hits theatres on August 12.
