Arcola Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Cry-Baby, The Musical. The 17-strong cast is the largest ensemble for a production in the theatre’s history.

Vicki Manser, a powerhouse performer who has made a superhero-sized impact on the UK theatre scene playing every single Queen in SIX the Musical, will continue her reign in Leicester as she takes on the lead role of Katie in the rock opera SuperYou.

Following multiple West End runs, and continuing success at its home - The Other Palace in London, Heathers the Musical is coming to The King’s Theatre, Glasgow as part of a new UK and Ireland tour. This is the first time the highly anticipated show has been to Glasgow, and it runs from Tuesday 27 June to Saturday 1 July 2023.

Heathers the Musical is touring the UK after a successful premiere at The Other Palace in 2018, which was followed by several revivals, all of which have contributed to its cult status as a musical in its own right, not just the 1988 movie on which it is based.

The production stars Joanne Clifton as Morticia Addams, Cameron Blakely as Gomez Addams, Scott Paige as Uncle Fester, Kingsley Morton as Wednesday Addams, Grant McIntyre as Pugsley Addams, Valda Aviks as Grandma, Sean Kingsley as Mal Beineke, Kara Lane as Alice Beineke, Ahmed Hamad as Lucas Beineke and Dickon Gough and Ryan Bennett sharing the role of Lurch.

From the moment I first performed in an amateur production of The Addams Family musical back in 2014, I fell in love with the show - with all its weird and wonderful (much-loved) characters, heart-warming story and spectacular score.
