Kevin Winebold Hosts Broadway Birthday Benefit, June 17

Musical director and pianist, Kevin Winebold, celebrates his 40th birthday with KEVIN WINEBOLD: MY FIRST FORTY YEARS with a host of Broadway guest artists in a benefit concert at The Players (16 Gramercy Park South). Guest artists include Desi Davar (WEST SIDE STORY), Nicolas Dromard (JERSEY BOYS), Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW), Leigh Ann Larkin (GYPSY), Kimberly Marable (HADESTOWN), Arthur Migliazza (BOOGIE STOMP!), Anthony Nunziata (The Last Laugh), and Jelani Remy (AIN'T TOO PROUD). Proceeds from the concert will benefit arts education programs that Winebold will be creating this summer in Angola, Africa.

A Class Act NY, Manhattan's award-winning acting studio for kids and teens just wrapped up their by audition only summer course, their July Pre-Professional Program! During this week-long intensive, 24 lucky young artists, ages 12 to 18, were challenged to expand their theatre performance skills and explore more advanced work. At the end of the week, participants made their off-Broadway Debut in a final performance at The Riverside Theatre in Manhattan for friends, family and industry professionals, including talent representatives and casting experts.
