Every morning the week of May 13–17, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” will bring the color and excitement of the Great White Way to viewers across the country with “Broadway Week.” Over the years, “Live” has hosted a multitude of performances from hit Broadway shows; and this year, “Live” will dedicate a full week to New York City's iconic theater scene, spotlighting a different Tony® Award-nominated musical each day.

Last night, Kristin Chenoweth was a guest on 'Watch What Happens Live.' During the interview, Chenoweth tells host Andy Cohen about the first time she met Ariana Grande, calling her "one of the best singers on the planet."

During its annual “New York Auto Show Week” (week of 4/15/19), “Live with Kelly and Ryan” grew over the prior week by 5% in Households (2.3 rating vs. 2.2 rating) to match its highest-rated week in 6 weeks and by 5% in Total Viewers (3.006 million vs. 2.870 million) to deliver its most-watched week in 6 weeks – since the week of 3/4/19. “Live” was the only top-tier syndicated talk show to improve week over week in either Nielsen measure, as “Dr. Phil” declined by -4% in both Homes and Viewers,  and “Ellen” held steady (flat/-1%, respectively).

Hailed as “comic gold” (Newsday), the critically acclaimed series “Broad City” delighted fans over five uproarious seasons.  Now, the fifth and final season arrives on DVD, along with a new Complete Series collection.

During the week of April 1, 2019, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” grew over the prior week by 10% in Households (2.3 rating vs. 2.1 rating), by 7% in Total Viewers (2.978 million vs. 2.796 million) and by 11% with Women 25-54 (1.0 rating vs. 0.9 rating).

Disney+ has inked a two-year deal with David Gelb (“Chef's Table,” “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”), Brian McGinn (“Chef's Table,” “Amanda Knox”) and Jason Sterman (“13th,” “Five Came Back”) of Supper Club. Under the exclusive pact, the trio will create premium franchise-based and original-concept nonfiction programming for the streaming service as well as other platforms and networks within The Walt Disney Company.

During the week of March 4, 2019, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” grew week to week by 10% among Women 25-54 (1.1 rating vs. 1.0 rating) to tie its season high. In addition, “Live” matched the prior week with Households (2.4 rating) to equal its 2nd highest-rated week this season.

Pittsburgh CLO will launch its second New Musicals Weekend, a project of the Next Generation Campaign's New Small Musicals Initiative. New Musicals Weekend, the mini version of the SPARK festival, takes the core goals of SPARK and puts them into action over just a few days. Similar to SPARK, New Musicals Weekend aims to develop new musicals for the CLO Cabaret by supporting writing teams with financial and creative resources and by building relationships with local and national artists. 

During the week of Jan. 28, 2019, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” was up for the 3 rd straight week in Households (+4% - 2.5 rating vs. 2.4 rating) and Total Viewers (+5% - 3.306 million vs. 3.134 million) to score new season highs and its strongest week since March 2018 – since the week of 3/5/18. “Live” also grew week to week among Women 25-54 (+10% - 1.1 rating vs. 1.0 rating) to match its season high.

The morning after Hollywood's biggest night, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest will be up bright and early to continue the celebration with “Live's After Oscar Show.” The spectacular annual broadcast will air in national syndication on Monday, Feb. 25, live at 9:00 a.m. EST.  

During the week of Dec. 31, 2018, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” ranked as the week's No. 1 syndicated talk show for the 2nd week in a row in Households (2.3 rating) and Women 25-54 (1.0 rating) despite its early time periods with lower overall TV usage levels, tying “Dr. Phil.”

Today, Disney|ABC Television and Disney Publishing Worldwide announced the seventh annual Magic of Storytelling campaign, which aims to donate up to 1 million books to First Book , a nonprofit that provides new free and affordable books to educators and organizations serving children from low-income families. Launching today and continuing through March 31, 2019, the campaign aims to inspire families' imaginations, cultivate a lifelong love of reading in kids and bring books to underserved communities across the country.
