Today, Disney|ABC Television and Disney Publishing Worldwide announced the seventh annual Magic of Storytelling campaign, which aims to donate up to 1 million books to First Book , a nonprofit that provides new free and affordable books to educators and organizations serving children from low-income families. Launching today and continuing through March 31, 2019, the campaign aims to inspire families' imaginations, cultivate a lifelong love of reading in kids and bring books to underserved communities across the country.

'Tis the season for holiday cheer on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” Hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest will get into the spirit this December with festive theme weeks, a holiday sweater spectacular, “Live's” annual Christmas extravaganza and a special end-of-year episode.

Last night at the 6th Annual Save the Children Illumination Gala, Save the Children, the leading organization investing in childhood, honored award-winning journalist David Muir, anchor of ABC's "World News Tonight;" SB Projects Founder Scooter Braun; and the organization's philanthropic corporate partner Mondel?z International. The event, which took place onWednesday, Nov 14, 2018, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, was hosted by actor and Save the Children Trustee Jennifer Garner and featured a special musical performance by MILCK.

During the week of Oct. 29, 2018, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” grew for the 2nd consecutive week in Households (+5% - 2.3 rating vs. 2.2 rating) to hit a new season high. In fact, “Live” delivered back-to-back season highs to post its highest-rated week in more than 7 months in Homes – since the week of 3/19/18.

The Jane Elissa Extravaganza: An Intimate Evening with Broadway and Daytime Stars will celebrate its 31st anniversary on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Manhattan's Marriott Marquis Hotel. The event benefits the Jane Elissa Endowment Fund for Leukemia/Lymphoma Research, as well as Cancer research, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, and other charitable causes. The evening is sponsored in part by Bridgehampton National Bank and Manhattan Mini Storage. Celebrities who have attended and/or been honored at past events include Kelly Ripa, Josh Duhamel, Michael Weatherly, Cameron Mathison, Mark Consuelos, Sarah Michelle Geller, Jacklyn Zeman, James Barbour, Mauricio Martinez and Michael J. A comedy inspired by the real life friendship of Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest is being developed at ABC, according to Variety.

Nationally syndicated morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Ryan” announces the lineup of guests appearing on the show the week of Oct. 29 – Nov. 2.

“Live with Kelly and Ryan” always sets the standard for Halloween, and this year, daytime duo Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest will prove that what's old is definitely new again when they present “Live's Best Halloween Show Ever: the ReBOOOOt” on Oct. 31.

Throughout October, stars across Disney|ABC Television are rallying behind National Bullying Prevention Month and encouraging viewers to #ChooseKindness through personal testimonials and videos that reinforce the importance of being kind. Along with nonprofit partners GLSEN, GLAAD, PACER, ESPN's “Shred Hate” campaign, No Bully, and Common Sense Media, the multi-platform and cross-network initiative, now in its sixth year, focuses on inspiring kids, families and change-makers around the country to put an end to bullying in their communities and online.

During the week of Sept. 10, 2018, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” built over premiere week by 11% among Women 25-54 (1.0 rating vs. 0.9 rating) and held even week to week among Households (2.1 rating). In fact, “Live” grew to a new 15-week high in Women 25-54, while tying its top Household rating in 15 weeks – since the week of 5/28/18.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos hosted the Los Angeles LGBT Center's 49th Anniversary Vanguard Awards, honoring Emmy nominee, Grammy winner, philanthropist, and writer Ricky Martin, presented by The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story co-star Max Greenfield, and philanthropist Ariadne Getty, who accepted their Vanguard Awards. Producer, writer, and director Greg Berlanti and his husband producer Robbie Rogers were also honored and received their awards from Love, Simon actor Nick Robinson.

Kelly Ripa will guest star on ABC's AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE, according to Variety. 

During the week of Sept. 3, 2018, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” opened its 31st season with a 6-week high in Households (2.1 rating) and a 9-week high in Total Viewers (2.819 million) – since the weeks of 7/23/18 and 7/2/18, respectively.

All this week “Live with Kelly and Ryan” has kept the “LIVEtember” momentum going with “Record Breaker Week,” turning each day into an epic attempt to secure a new Guinness World Records title.
