Celebrate the 90-year legacies of country music icons Patsy Cline and George Jones as The Weidner presents Los Angeles-based, Wisconsin-native and vocalist Staci Griesbach performing selections from these two classic catalogs reimagined through a Jazz lens.

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts announces a new slate of digital events for Spring of 2021. Upcoming events include a mix of livestream and pre-recorded theatrical performance, concerts and speaker engagements presented on the Weidner Center's YouTube Channel. Out of concern for public health, all programs will be presented with no-person attendance.

As the Green Bay Packers celebrate their 100th Season, the Weidner Center wanted to offer their own tribute to the team. The legacy of Packers' coach, Vince Lombardi, remains strong in the streets of Green Bay.

The Weidner Center is proud to present the inaugural TEDxUW-Green Bay in collaboration with faculty from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Speaker nominations and applications are being accepted June 1 - June 20. Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California, reinvents its theatre to present Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, as reimagined by the Chicago theatre hooligans The Hypocrites. This wacky beach party with flying beach balls, rubber duckies, ukuleles, banjos, plastic swimming pools, and a tiki bar brings the audience on stage for a night they won't forget.

After a nationwide search, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay announced today the appointment of Chicago arts leader Kelli Strickland as the new executive and artistic director of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Provost Greg Davis announced the appointment. Strickland begins her new role October 31, 2017.

Today, The Hypocrites announced it met its ticket pledge goal for The Aristophanesathon, which will run at the Chopin Theater and open in April 2018.
