Tyrell Williams’ tale of football, friendship, and societal shift has smashed records and garnered outstanding feedback across the board. More than a couple awards and the surprising surge in sports-themed plays we’ve had have put it back on the map for another limited run. Could this playwriting debut be eyeing a West End transfer at this point? It’s already a success, it might as well become a commercial hit too.

The video teases a packed season full of new sexual experiences, personal growth, love, laughter, tears, friendship, more of Eric’s fabulous wardrobe, Jean back in session and with a new boss (played by Hannah Gadsby), Adam working on a farm (?), Aimee’s artistic prowess, and to top it off…Maeve back in Moordale for a first real date with Otis.

One of the hit productions of the Bush Theatre’s 50th anniversary year, Red Pitch returns to the Bush Theatre, London for three weeks only from 7 September.  Original cast members Kedar Williams-Stirling, Emeka Sesay and Francis Lovehall play three football-obsessed teens in director Daniel Bailey’s production.

Asa Butterfield leads the cast as Otis Milburn, alongside Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie, Samantha Spiro, Jim Howick, Rakhee Thakrar and Daniel Ings.
