Brandi Carlile has released her rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. The new song is the latest studio work from Carlile, whose recent producer projects include Shucked writer Brandy Clark’s new album. The Wiz is also set to make its return to Broadway in 2024 with an entirely reimagined revival. It was adapted into a film in 1978 starring Diana Ross.

The organizers of Pure Imagination – the female led and curated, environmentally forward, all-ages destination festival taking place on May 20th in Prescott, AZ – have announced the addition of two acts to the already fantastic line-up for its sophomore edition: Los Lobos and Dirtwire.

The event will feature more than 35 acts, culinary experiences with renowned chefs from across the nation, local artisans and one of a kind merchandise. The tribute will include Eddie Vedder, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, Brittney Spencer, Billy Strings, Lukas Nelson, Jake Wesley Rogers, Ashley McBryde, Fancy Hagood, Jelly Roll, Danny Myrick and Travis Howard, with appearances by Jim Parsons, Anthony Mason, Mayim Bialik, Cheyenne Jackson, Max Greenfield, Margaret Cho, and more.

“Brandi Carlile’s Mothership Weekend” will take place in Miramar Beach, FL May 12-14. Created as an annual Mother’s Day celebration, the festival will feature performances from Carlile, Hozier, Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Danielle Ponder, The Milk Carton Kids, Katie Pruitt and Fancy Hagood.

Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend—a destination concert vacation produced by Cloud 9 Adventures in partnership with The Bowery Presents will feature multiple sets from Carlile, plus Maren Morris, Sara Bareilles, Wynonna, Lucius, Yola, Allison Russell, Joy Oladokun, Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby, Brandy Clark and Brittney Spencer.
