The west coast premiere production of the hit Off-Broadway and London sensation, AFTERGLOW, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman is extending again through Sunday, August 28 at the Hudson Theatre.

A brand new production of ON YOUR FEET! THE STORY OF EMILIO & GLORIA ESTEFAN will launch a coast-to-coast US tour beginning in November 2022. This inspiring true story about heart, heritage and two people who believed in their talent—and each other—has already won the hearts of audiences and critics alike.

Midnight Theatricals will present the west coast premiere of the hit Off-Broadway and London sensation, AFTERGLOW, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman.  AFTERGLOW will begin previews on Thursday, April 28; will have a press opening on Thursday, May 5; and performs through Saturday, June 19 at the Hudson Theatre.

The series begins with a deep dive into the Life and Legacy of Jonathan Larson. The premiere week continues on January 28th with the first interview of Season 3, featuring 2021 International Lotte Lenya Competition Winner, Andrew Polec. The season begins on January 22nd and will be accompanied by a LIVE event with the co-hosts on their Facebook page at 3 pm EST/8 pm GMT.

This Spotlight focuses on Elizabeth Adabale, a dedicated musical theatre entertainer who studied public health and theatre at the University of Southern California and taught high school biology with Teach for America, until the stage pulled her elsewhere. I first met her in 2013 when she began to audition for productions in Los Angeles and I knew with her talent and stage presence, Elizabeth was destined to a?oehit it biga?? on stages across the country! I reached out to her to find out how is she dealing with the cancellation of her national tour in 'The Color Purple' after 111 performances.

The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed NEO Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical Borders, with book, music, and lyrics by 2019 NEO writers Janine McGuire and Arri Lawton Simon, based on the film The Bubble by Eytan Fox and Gal Uchovsky, for ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
