La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for its world-premiere production of The Garden, a Playhouse commission by Tony Award nominee Charlayne Woodard (Playhouse's The Night Watcher, Pretty Fire), co-directed by Patricia McGregor (Roundabout Theatre's Ugly Lies the Bone) and Delicia Turner Sonnenberg (Playhouse's POP Tour #Super Shiny Sara).

Directed by Ford’s Theatre Senior Artistic Advisor Sheldon Epps, the remarkable new drama is based on true events and the friendship between contralto Marian Anderson and physicist Albert Einstein.

Today, Baltimore Center Stage announced the cast and artistic team for The Garden. The play will be streaming this summer from June 24-July 18. It is a co production with La Jolla Playhouse.

Huntington Theatre Company has announced the casting for We All Fall Down, a new comedy about a family trying out tradition for the first time, written by Boston area playwright and Huntington Playwriting Fellow Lila Rose Kaplan.
