Two River Theater (TRT) is now presenting a stunning production of August Wilson's drama, King Hedley II through December 16. The show is expertly directed by the renowned actor and director, Brandon J. Dirden and features a cast that is ideal in their roles.

Marking the halfway point in its commitment to present all 10 plays of August Wilson's American Century Cycle, Two River Theater announces the complete cast and creative team for its production of Wilson's "exhilarating" (The New York Times) and incendiary drama King Hedley II, directed by Brandon J. Dirden. For the first time, the theater will be presenting one of Wilson's plays in its intimate 110-seat Marion Huber Theater, with performances beginning on November 10 and continuing for an extended five-week run through Sunday, December 16. TUTS' OKLAHOMA is now on stage through September 23rd! Priscilla Lopez stars as 'Aunt Eller' in the production and is joined by Sam Simahk as 'Curly,' Olivia Hernandez as 'Laurey,' Madeline Hamlet as 'Ado Annie,' Logan Keslar as 'Ike Skidmore', Hassan Nazari-Robati as 'Ali Hakim,' Christopher Campbell as 'Will Parker,' Eric Ulloa as 'Jud Fry,' David Sitler as 'Andrew Carnes,' and Dewey Caddell as 'Cord Elam.'

In the theatre world, your first time seeing Rodgers & Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! is essentially a rite of passage. You either love it or you don't-and the pendulum can swing either direction depending on the actors, designers, and director's choices. Ever since I sat in my Survey of Musical Theatre class freshman year, watching the 1999 film of Oklahoma! , I've been waiting to see a live production. Whether you are an Oklahoma addict or have never heard of the show before, do your soul a favor and experience this joyful, unreplicable production.

TUTS' production of Oklahoma! will be directed by Dallas Theater Center's Artistic Director, Kevin Moriarty. The production, which is an artistic collaboration with Houston Ballet, will be choreographed by Stanton Welch AM, Artistic Director of Houston Ballet. Broadway conductor Kimberly Grigsby will be Musical Director of the show. Joining them on the production are Andrew Harper as Sound Designer, Jason Lyons as Lighting Designer, and Karen Perry as Costume Design. Casting for Oklahoma! was provided by Paul Hardt of Stewart/Whitley.

Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez will lead the cast in the role of 'Aunt Eller' in Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, the first show in the musical theatre company's 50th Anniversary Season.

Seattle Repertory Theatre today announced complete casting for its production of Familiar by playwright and actor Danai Gurira, directed by Taibi Magar. A co-production with the Guthrie Theater, Familiar is set in the suburbs of Minneapolis and takes a fresh look at tradition, immigration, and assimilation as a Zimbabwean American family gathers together at their home before the rehearsal dinner for their elder daughter's wedding.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) announced today that their upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, which kicks off the theatre company's 50th Anniversary Season in September, will be an artistic collaboration with Houston Ballet. 

City Theatre's season of bold new work progresses with the world premiere of Citizens Market by Cori Thomas, which explores the lives and complications of a group of immigrants as they find their footing in America. Thomas's work was last seen at City Theatre with the world premiere of When January Feels Like Summer, winner of the 2011 Osborne New Play Award. Directed by Artistic Producer Reginald L. Douglas, Citizens Market runs on the Main Stage March 3 - 25, 2018. Tickets are on sale now.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces the third production of its 2017-2018 season, Familiar. Written by Danai Gurira and directed by Theatre J artistic director Adam Immerwahr, Familiar will run from February 5 to March 11, 2018.
