Tuar Ard Moate Arts Centre Presents a tribute concert to Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter & Annie Murray “A NIGHT TO REMEMBER,' performed by Rosie Flanagan singing their greatest hits. This show features The Moonlight Orchestra & some backup singers.

The long-running Off Broadway favorite Love, Loss, and What I Wore will close tonight, Sunday, March 25, 2012 after playing for two and a half years and 1,013 performances. (March 15th marked the show's landmark 1,000 performance.)

Today, Love, Loss, and What I Wore begins its final week of performances Off Broadway at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street), before the long-running hit closes on Sunday, March 25th.

After reigning since 2006 as the most critically acclaimed, award-winning supper club of its kind in the greater Los Angeles area, Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's will close its doors in Studio City, CA on Sunday, March 18 following its final show headlined by Reba Buhr, co-star of Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Miss Buhr is also a host for the Disney Channel's popular 365 television series. The announcement became official by producer Michael Sterling.

Gradually emerging as a work for the theater from casual beginnings in Houston in 1988, expanded for productions in Atlanta and Nashville (starring Mandy Barnett) in the mid-1990s, then to off-Broadway, to Chicago and beyond, "Always…Patsy Cline" was created to frame the immortal songs and voice of Patsy Cline in a theatrical context.

For the past several weeks, Broadway's Davis Gaines has took to the stage as Don Quixote in the Musical Theatre West production of Man of La Mancha at the Richard and Karen Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts. Having received rave notices since its February 10 opening of a fourteen performance run, BWW TV's Los Angeles Correspondents Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans visited Gaines and company to reflect on the run as it prepares for closing on Sunday, February 26. Producer Daryl Roth just announced the complete cast for the final month of the long-running hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Karyn Quackenbush, who has been associated with the show as performer and standby since its first readings in 2009, and Joyce van Patten, who starred as 'Gingy' in the September 2011 cast, will join previously announced cast members Sierra Boggess, Ally Walker and Erica Watson, performing Wednesday, February 29 through Sunday, March 25, which marks the show's 1,013th and final performance.

MAN OF LA MANCHA, opened on Broadway in 1965. This Tony Award Winner for Best Musical features one of Broadway's great standards, 'The Impossible Dream,' and takes place during the height of the Spanish Inquisition. While awaiting a hearing with the Inquisition, Miguel de Cervantes presents a play as his defense in a mock trial for the prisoners. In it, he plays Alonso Quijana, a man who has set his own reality aside and becomes Don Quixote De La Mancha. Assisted by Sancho Panza, Quixote attempts to avoid his mortal enemy, the Enchanter, and woo the serving wench and prostitute, Aldonza, who he takes to be the Lady Dulcinea.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Daytime Emmy Award-winner and "One Live to Live" star Robin Strasser, Erica Watson (Precious), and TV icon Dawn Wells ("Gilligan's Island") will all join upcoming casts of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, now in its third smash year. Strasser joins the February 2012 cast (February 1 - 26) on the heels of the final episode of the long-running "One Life to Live," and Wells joins the same cast having recently performed in the successful Chicago production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Watson will take part in the show beginning February 29, through April 1, and was also part of the show's Chicago run.
