A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, the new Broadway musical that opened earlier this month to rave reviews for star Mary Bridget Davies, will be featured on VH1's "Top 20 Video Countdown" this weekend on channel 19 (check local listings). Davies' interview with host Jim Shearer will air Saturday, October 26 at 9:00am EST, repeating on Sunday, October 27 at 8:00am EST.

Hot on the heels of a sold out weekend, tickets for the balcony will be on sale tomorrow, Friday, October 25th for A Night With Janis Joplin, which opened earlier this month to rave reviews for 'the cast of five phenomenal singers' (NY1). Balcony tickets will be available Friday evenings, Saturday matinees and evenings, and Sunday matinees. Rear and side balcony will be $35.00, with front center balcony priced at $50.00. Playwrights Horizons presents its New York premiere production of Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play, a new play by Anne Washburn, with music by Obie Award winner Michael Friedman. Directed by Steve Cosson, the Obie Award-winning Artistic Director of The Civilians, Mr. Burns is being presented as the first production of Playwrights Horizons' 2013/2014 Season.

The Old Globe presents The Last Goodbye, a new musical fusing Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with the incendiary songs of the legendary singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley. Conceived and adapted by Michael Kimmel, the rock musical is directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher, Bloody BloodyAndrew Jackson). Choreography is by Emmy Award nominee Sonya Tayeh ('So You Think You Can Dance'), and orchestrations, music direction and arrangements are by Kris Kukul. The Last Goodbye will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, now through Nov. 3, 2013.
