National Youth Theater will present Totally 80s, The Musical in November! The exclusive engagement at the Norris Theatre on the Palos Verdes Peninsula runs January 25 through February 3. San Diego Musical Theatre "The Local Way to See Broadway" presents their first production of 2014, CATS, running two more weekends at the North Park Theatre throughApril 6, 2014. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London's New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years. CATS's London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Wintergarden Theatre for just over 18 years. San Diego Musical Theatre wins awards, for their 2013 Season of Musicals, at the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle 12th Annual Craig Noel Awards on February 10th, 2014 at the Museum of Contemporary Arts in La Jolla among 500 San Diego theatre industry members and supporters. San Diego Musical Theatre announces their first production of 2014 - CATS, (press opening on Saturday, March 22) at the North Park Theatre.

On Saturday, June 29, 2013, award winning vocalist, Chris Williams, will be performing a concert for the official release of his new album 'Elizabeth: Songs Based on Pride & Prejudice' at Stadium Vineyard, 1531 S. Sinclair St. Anaheim, CA 92869. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 8:00 p.m. The new CD is being launched this year in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's timeless masterpiece.
