Broadway for Biden's weekly phone banking initiative continues tonight, Monday, August 24, 2020, featuring former cast members from the beloved hit musicals The Lion King and Newsies.

Broadway for Biden's inaugural Town Hall event will stream online this Sunday, August 23 at 2:00pm EST, produced by the Broadway Podcast Network.

Broadway for Biden is a newly formed, inclusive online community dedicated to bringing together professional theater makers, students, and Broadway fans around the country to raise awareness on key issues in the 2020 presidential election, increase voter turnout, and raise funds to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House this November.

The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers and national publications, today announced its plans for honoring the 2019-2020 season of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

A Museum of Broadway will launch in Times Square in 2020! The pop-up museum's unique exhibits will create rich, immersive, visual experiences that take fans on a journey from the birth of Broadway through present day - and everything in between. Visitors will be treated to a one-of-a-kind Broadway experience perfect for all ages.

The nominations were announced this morning by the current stars of Waitress, Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, at the official announcement event at Sardi's Restaurant, which was streamed live online here at BroadwayWorld.

Theatrical rights licensor Broadway Licensing, along with the Broadway producers of Head Over Heels (led by Christine Russell, Louise Gund), today announced the immediate availability of 2019 performance rights for school and youth theatrical programs.

Head Over Heels, the new musical comedy featuring the iconic songs of The Go-Go's - the most successful female rock band of all time - will play its final Broadway performance at Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street) on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Head Over Heels, which began preview performances on Saturday, June 23 and officially opened on Thursday, July 26, 2018, will have played 188 regular performances and 37 previews.
