Historic six-time Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald, star of Broadway’s The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Carousel, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill and HBO’s The Gilded Age, opens the Town Hall series on May 29 with Seth Rudetsky as music director and host.

In celebration of her soon to be released album Ann Kittredge:reIMAGINE(Jazzheads, Inc./King Kozmo Music), a specially curated collection of songs uniquely re-imagined, Ms. Kittredge, will appear at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street – between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Thursday, May 26th at 7pm.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Nashville vocalist Wendy Moten – best known for her 2021 run on NBC’s “The Voice” – in a special concert on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. Her show will include songwriter Richard Whiting hits including “He’s Funny That Way,” “My Ideal,” “Miss Brown,” and “Too Marvelous For Words.”

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present acclaimed vocalist and songwriter Amanda McBroom in her new show “Crimes of the Heart” on Monday, May 2 at 7:00 PM. McBroom’s concert will feature songs of passion, politics, and just plain love, written by the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Leonard Cohen, and of course, Amanda McBroom.

After wowing sell-out audiences with her highly acclaimed West End tour de force Liza Pulman Sings Streisand, Liza returns with her brand-new show The Heart of It. Featuring songs from her 2021 album, this sparkling night of music premieres in London for a limited run at Riverside Studios, before playing Cadogan Hall with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra on 25th May 2022 and Wilton's Music Hall on 4th and 5th June 2022.

 In honor of Women’s History Month, BroadwayHD is celebrating some of Broadway’s iconic female characters with new titles coming to the platform including Yentl from Yentl, Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Tracy from Hairspray Live!.

Spanish folk musician Germán López is set to open for Judy Collins on March 7th at the Lensic Theatre in Santa Fe. His own show, Canela y Limón (Cinnamon and Lemon), is set to play on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:30pm at Chatter.
