A field trip for the BWW Cabaret team yielded great enjoyment and four different takes on The Drinkwater Brothers.

The Town Hall has announced the conclusion of its current virtual season this July as well as unveiling its 2021-2022 centennial in-person season. From music and comedy to politics and LGBTQIA+ events, The Town Hall's upcoming programming is as eclectic and diverse as the famed building itself.  

Today, Park Avenue Armory and WQXR/WNYC Studios announced a partnership to co-produce HELGA: The Armory Conversations, a new season of the podcast hosted by critically-acclaimed performing artist and WQXR host Helga Davis.

On July 1 at 7:30 p.m. Live with Carnegie Hall will present James Taylor: Celebrating an American Standard, featuring a never-before-seen stream of a one-night-only historic performance curated by the renowned singer/songwriter in April 2011 to mark Carnegie Hall’s 120th anniversary, kicking off his four-concert Perspectives series that season.

Tanglewood is announcing an update to its 2021 Popular Artist performances, many of which were originally slated to take place in June and July.

Mayo Performing Arts Center is back and expecting to present events at full capacity this fall, as it announces its 21-22 season schedule. MPAC's season officially kicks off on Friday, September 17 with a performance by Broadway and cabaret favorite Linda Eder.

Now, Jeremy Parsons has been selected, from approximately 700 entries, as a 2021 New Folk Finalist. As a result, Jeremy will perform in one of two Kerrville's Grassy Hill New Folk Competition Finalist Concerts on Saturday May 22nd at 7p.m. Central & Sunday May 23rd at 7p.m. Central.

Recorded live on The Town Hall stage in February 2021, this streaming performance includes songs that spoke to the social and political activism of the '60s and are still incredibly relevant today. You'll hear Bob Dylan's “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll” and “Mr. Tambourine Man,” Tom Paxton's “Ramblin' Boy” and “Bottle of Wine,” and Billy Edd Wheeler's “Coal Tattoo” and “Winter Sky.” Judy will also sing her beloved hit “Both Sides, Now” by Joni Mitchell.

SFJAZZ in San Francisco will present an exclusive Jane Monheit performance featuring her award-winning tribute to Ella Fitzgerald. The broadcast is part of SFJAZZ's Fridays at Five series and will air Friday, March 26, 2021 at 5:00pm PST/8:00pm EST.

The Boch Center is now showing 'Women Who Rock', a digital exhibit celebrating female musicians during Women's History Month.

The Columbus Symphony will perform a one-night-only, in-person Valentine’s Concert at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, February 13. Conducted by CSO Principal Pops Conductor Stuart Chafetz, this intimate concert will feature a collection of the world’s most romantic pop songs performed by a full, socially distanced orchestra.

The Town Hall will present a special streaming concert event with music icon Judy Collins as she recreates her legendary 1964 New York City concert hall debut. Collins filmed the show onstage at The Town Hall and will be streamed on February 12 at 8pm EST.
