Connecticut Ballet, under the artistic direction of Brett Raphael, announced the celebrated guests artists who will appear in the company's 40th anniversary production of its holiday blockbuster, Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker.

So whether you grew up listening to classic Christmas tunes, or grew up near a big city, in some way shape or form you have heard of The Nutcracker. Always a go-to holiday event for families of all ages and generations, this classic story is brilliantly told through the art of dance, specifically in the form of Ballet.

What did our critic think of Visionary Voices at The Kennedy Center? On June 7th and 8th, In the comfortable and open atmosphere of the Kennedy Center's Opera House Theater, the New York City Ballet Presented Visionary Voices, showcasing three contemporary choreographers; Jamar Roberts, Sidra Bell, and Justin Peck (respectively). The evening was accompanied by live music from The Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra.

The much anticipated dance production, Tiler Peck, Artists At The Center opened on Friday night to the sheer delight of the full-house audience.

Today, New York City Ballet announced the promotion of three of the company’s soloists. Harrison Ball, Jovani Furlan, and Peter Walker have all been promoted to Principal Dancer. The Company closes its  2022 Winter Season on Sunday, February 27, and will return for a six-week spring season from April 19 to  May 29, 2022 at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

On November 1st and 2nd, BalletCollective will present a NYC season titled “re-MEMBERING” at Bohemian National Hall, with audiences in the round to highlight the collaborative mission that guides their artistic process.

The resource launches from June 25-27, 2021 at 7pm ET with the premieres of the films and the reveal of the platform, a website whose URL will go live at this moment.
