Award-winning singer-songwriter Shaina Taub will return to New York City’s Joe’s Pub for a trio of headline shows set for September 20, October 25, and December 5.

Jenny Owen Youngs releases her second single “Knife Went In” from her forthcoming highly-anticipated fourth studio album Avalanche. “Knife Went In” is an exploration of vulnerability in early stages of relationships and finding common ground in shared wounds, with Youngs’ gentle voice gliding smoothly over looping nylon-stringed guitar.

There’s the music he made in a shared studio spot with Josh Kaufman (Bonnie Light Horsemen, Bob Weir), like “Skipper on the Reef” and “J’Amore” – songs that have a lighter warmth and immediacy about them. Pianos glow gently around the cinematic 'Skipper on the Reef' as a wayward Salett struggles to figure out where his life is headed.

Alongside the album announcement,  Youngs has released the title track “Avalanche” with a stunning visualizer she curated of found archival footage of, fittingly, avalanches. Additionally, she released a live performance video of “Avalanche” featuring Jenny alongside Peter Silberman of The Antlers. Plus, check out tour dates!

The Festival will feature more than 30 acts – including some of the best bands in the business, headlined by Spyro Gyra and featuring nationally celebrated talents such as Evelyn Champagne King, Dave Bennett Quartet, Freddie Fox and Tim Cunningham.

There are also tracks that he wrote with his good friend Thomas Bartlett (St. Vincent, Florence & the Machine, Yoko Ono), like “I For One” and “Spun the Wheel,” a cinematic narrative that finds Salett singing from the perspective of an older man who had his chance, and is now at the end of his life and looking back over it.

The music-driven tale, set in post 9-11 NYC, features music supervision from Jonathan Leahey (Girls, Swarm, Mr. Robot), and an original score from composer and producer Jason Hill (Gone Girl, Mindhunter). The soundtrack becomes available on the same day as the global premiere of “City on Fire” on Apple TV+.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour (SFSH) returns for its fourth edition, from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th September, welcoming some of the finest International and Irish artists to stages across Cork city, and beyond.

On the heels of her debut album announcement, Nanna has released “Disaster Master,” a new track from the forthcoming project. Riddled with charged emotions and the pangs of anxiety, “Disaster Master” is written by Nanna and produced by Josh Kaufman (Bob Weir, The National, The War on Drugs).

The inaugural Carmel Jazz Fest is scheduled for August 11 and 12, 2023, in Carmel, IN. The two-day festival will feature 30+ international, national and regional jazz, R&B and blues acts across eight stages throughout Carmel, including The Palladium, The Tarkington, Carmel Gazebo, Carter Green, The Studio Theatre, Midtown Plaza, Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael, Jazz on the Monon and pop-up performances.  The event includes an upscale art market, beer, wine and food vendors.

The Hold Steady will share their latest song, “Understudies,” tomorrow, Friday, March 10, at all DSPs and streaming services. The release of “Understudies” will mark the third track heralding The Hold Steady’s ninth studio album, The Price of Progress, arriving on their own Positive Jams label via Thirty Tigers in three weeks.

Discovering Broadway has revealed the starry cast for Five Points The Musical Concert at the historic Madam Walker Theatre in Indianapolis during Black History Month on February 10th, 2023 at 7:30PM.

It will be available digitally as well as on CD, standard black vinyl, translucent green-colored vinyl (band store), metallic gold (indie retail), metallic silver (Vinyl Me, Please), and white (Rough Trade). Fresh off a sold-out UK tour, Craig Finn and the Uptown Controllers are jumping right back into a fall tour of North America. Kicking off on October 11 at Boston's Crystal Ballroom followed by a performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on the 12th, the dates will take the band through November 9, ending at Portland, OR's Old Church.

Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, the duo known as Watchhouse (formerly known as Mandolin Orange), will perform in Capitol Theater on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.

Recorded with Finn’s longtime collaborators, producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin, the album includes the singles “Messing With The Settings,” “Birthdays,” and “The Amarillo Kid,” all joined by official music videos streaming now on YouTube. Check out the complete list of tour dates now!

Craig Finn has announced a run of live shows beginning June 28 at the Turf Club in St. Paul, MN. Finn and his band, The Uptown Controllers then travel down to Evanston, IL, and make a stop at Milwaukee, WI's SummerFest before heading to the Raccoon Hotel in Davenport, IA on July 1.
