Red Bull Music will launch the latest installment of their critically acclaimed international music series Red Bull Music Festival this Saturday, November 3rd in Chicago with Opening Night at Wintrust Arena. Chicago is the home to some of hip hop's most cutting edge artists and the event series will celebrate many of them, kicking the festival off with one of the largest RBMF events to-date. Legends, luminaries, and rising stars in rap and R&B will come together for an unprecedented ensemble performance and REVOLT will be on hand to capture it as a livestream.

The Broad Stage presents Billy Childs and his Jazz Chamber Ensemble on Sunday, November 11 at 7:30pm. One of the foremost American composers of his era, pianist Billy Childs embodies a unique blend of jazz and classical music. The multi-GRAMMY Award winner's groundbreaking project merges improvisation and jazz rhythms with the orchestration and instrumentation of a traditional chamber ensemble.

Funk rock pioneer Nona Hendryx continues her year at Joe's Pub as the inaugural recipient of The Vanguard Residency and Award. In collaboration with renowned American artist Carrie Mae Weems, award-winning theater director Niegel Smith and acclaimed choreographer Francesca Harper, Hendryx created Refrigerated Dreams, an immersive multimedia installation and concert transforming Joe's Pub into the dinner party of the season. Inspired by Weems's seminal The Kitchen Table Series, the work-in-progress is directed by Smith and features choreography and performances by Harper, Josh Johnson and The Francesca Harper Project, with original music by Hendryx.

The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with TBS, announced today the addition of more than 100 shows to its 2018 line-up. The festival runs from November 5th through November 11th at some of New York City's most iconic venues including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others.

The Wattis Institute launches its 20th anniversary year with the exhibition Adam Linder: Full Service, a survey exhibition of five choreographic works by Adam Linder (b. 1983, Sydney, Australia; lives and works in Los Angeles). The exhibition is on view at the Wattis Institute from September 8 through September 29, 2018, with performances taking place all day, every day, during open hours. A precise schedule appears below. Speak Up, Rise Up, will present their annual storytelling festival, August 6 - 12 at The Tank in mid-town Manhattan. Now in its second year, Speak Up, Rise Up, aims to amplify the voices of communities and people we don't often hear from.

Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. All shows will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in the 415 Comedy Club room.
