Daily Show writer, comedian, and artist Josh Johnson will perform two Channel Black shows at New York Comedy Club this week oon Wednesday, November 17 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

The track is fresh off their latest full-length album, 'The Silence of Ecstasy... The Agony of Dreams', available now in CD format through retailer Bull Moose and later, on all major streaming platforms.

The annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival returns to the Green on Saturday, September 18, from noon until 10:00 p.m. Canceled because of the pandemic in 2020, this year's free concert pays tribute to one of its founders Linda Kiger Smith and Mike Fabrizio, a longtime member of the festival committee, both of whom passed away in June.

This July, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring together more than 140 actors, singers and musicians from across globe for a sensational, one-time event - A Yiddish Renaissance: A Virtual Concert Celebration - filled with music and appearances by some of the most renowned Yiddish performers.

Next week, Johnson’s debut one-hour stand-up special, Trevor Noah Presents Josh Johnson: # (Hashtag) will premiere Friday, June 18th at 11:00 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central.

Josh Johnson is a stand-up, writer, and performer from Louisiana by way of Chicago.

Written by Chicago musician Groovebox and Josh Johnson, this track is a heartbreak in progress laced with sweet nothings and a full account of why this person is still worth loving even if all that devotion meets a dead end.

Johnson recorded the stand-up tracks on Elusive live in the fall of 2020 with executive producer and manager Samantha Murphy.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah writer and stand-up comedian Josh Johnson is set to commence production on his first one-hour stand-up special and will be returning to the city where he started his comedy career: Chicago. Trevor Noah Presents: Josh Johnson will be taping at The Laugh Factory (3175 N. Broadway) at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 4. The special is set to premiere in 2020 on Comedy Central. 

City Farm Presents released show and lineup updates for the 3rd Brooklyn Podcast Festival which takes place January 22 - 26, 2020 in Brooklyn, New York. Executive and Artistic Director Keith Gerth and Associate Artistic Director Stephen Smith of the Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview announce their next production, Neil Simon's dramatic comedy Jake's Women. This production is directed by Josh Johnson and will be performed from January 16th through March 1st 2020 at 1723 Glenview Road in Glenview.

Composer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Parker's Suite for Max Brown will be released on January 24, 2020 via a newly formed partnership between International Anthem and Nonesuch Records. The album, named for and dedicated to Parker's mother, features nine original songs as well as “Gnarciss,” an interpretation of Joe Henderson's “Black Narcissus,” and John Coltrane's “After the Rain.” Parker plays the majority of the instruments on the record and also engineered most it at home or during his 2018 Headlands Center residency in Sausalito, CA. The album track “Go Away” debuted today.  Parker performs at this year's Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN on March 27, as well as spring dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, among others; the full schedule is below.
