Rules of Desire, a new play by award-winning playwright William Mastrosimone (Extremities) will have its world premiere Off Broadway in a limited engagement. Produced by Eric Krebs, performances are set to begin TOMORROW night Tuesday, February 11th at 7:30pm at The Playroom Theatre (151 West 46th Street - just east of Broadway). Opening Night is set for Monday, February 24th, 2020 at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through March 21, 2020.

Amas Musical Theatre's Off-Broadway premiere of Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn is underway at the Mezzanine Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street). With book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman, music adapted from classic Italian melodies, and directed and choreographed by Justin Ross Cohen, performances continue through February 16, 2020.

With a book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman and presented by Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, and in association with Eric Krebs), Romeo & Bernadette makes its Off-Broadway debut under the direction of Justin Ross Cohen. Previews begin at the Mezzanine Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres 502 West 53rd Street (10th Avenue & 53rd Street) tomorrow night, Tuesday, January 14th at 7pm with an official opening on Thursday, January 23rd at 8pm. Written by Dann Berg and Avital Asuleen (Director/Choreographer), THE FLOORSHOW intersperses song-and-dance numbers into the dramatization of the personal and professional hurdles that an all-female performance troupe faces in 1951 New York City. Moving between onstage and backstage at The Gilded Palace, THE FLOORSHOW nests an emotionally rich female-sisterhood narrative within a framework of creative competition and sexism.

Gallery Players will open its 53rd season with Cabaret; book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood; music by John Kander; lyrics by Fred Ebb.

Tickets are now on sale for the World Premiere of the new play The Floorshow, running September 26th-29th at Theatre 71 (152 w. 71st Street).

This April Gallery Players brings their production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS to the stage on the 30th anniversary of the release of the film of the same name.
