Dark Horse Records has announced the release of Dreamers In The Field, the first-ever collaboration between Huun-Huur-Tu, Carmen Rizzo and Dhani Harrison. Mastered by Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, George Harrison), Dreamers In The Field is now available for streaming everywhere while a very special, limited edition clear vinyl pressing is being released exclusively for Record Store Day on April 20. Listen to the project here!

The 2LP Neon Yellow color vinyl is available now via H.O.T. Records/BMG. It is also available on CD and is streaming everywhere. Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Jonah Tolchin today unveils “Black Hole,” the hypnotic opening track from his upcoming studio album, Lava Lamp. Co-produced with multi-instrumentalist/engineer Nic Coolidge, Lava Lamp was recorded with a three-piece that included Coolidge on bass and Tolchin’s friend and collaborator Kevin Clifford on drums.

The 2020 Sundance ASCAP Music Café kicked off on Friday, January 24th with a special introduction by Peter Golub, Director of the Sundance Film Music Program and performances from a dynamic group of some of today's most accomplished songwriters and composers. Cuban-born composer Jorge Aragón and Gene Back (formerly of the group The Books) started the day off with a beautiful set of instrumental music. The two originally met last year at the Sundance Composers Lab. Then musical force of nature Ron Artis II from Hawaii delivered a powerful solo acoustic set highlighted by masterful guitar work and deeply soulful songs that earned a standing ovation. Swedish pop singer-songwriter León brought some contemporary European cool to the stage while Americana troubadour Aaron Lee Tasjan, out of Nashville, delivered a set of left-of-center songs that were by turns poignant and provocative. And CYN, an emerging artist who is signed to Katy Perry's record label, capped the day with a captivating set of songs, several of which will appear in film projects in 2020. Several film composers stopped by the Music Café as well including Amanda Jones, who scored this year's Sundance short Baldwin Beauty and who also has music in the new BET series Twenties, and Bear McCreary, who scored this year's Sundance doc Crip Camp, which was produced by Barack and Michelle Obamas' new production company.

ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) announces an eclectic music lineup for its 22nd Annual Sundance ASCAP Music Café, taking place January 24 - 31, 2020 during the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Beginning at 2 p.m. each day, the Café will feature a dynamic mix of both established and emerging songwriters and artists such as Matt Berninger (of The National), Derek Smalls (formerly of the band formerly known as Spinal Tap), the bird and the bee, Barry Zito, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Matthew Koma (of Winnetka Bowling League) and ZZ Ward.

Jesse Malin is sharing a new video for 'Meet Me at the End of the World Again' (directed by David Stekert) from his album Sunset Kids, produced by Lucinda Williams and Tom Overby. 'I just love his writing,' Lucinda tells Rolling Stone. 'I think his whole punk background informs a lot of what he does.'

Today, Nashville-based veteran alt folk artist Stone Jack Jones shares his new single 'O Brother,' the second feature track off his forthcoming LP Black Snake. Northern Transmissions premiered the track with praise, stating, 'Jones's signature vocal timbre lies on top of the building instrumentation – the result is eerie and lush, while still having that solid skeletal beat to keep you reeling. This will be on repeat into the Fall as the weather gets cooler and darker.' Black SnakeLP is out 9/13 via yk Records. Stone Jack Jones will be playing a hometown album release show at Drkmttr on 9/14. 

Acclaimed singer/songwriter/bluesman Jonah Tolchin has confirmed additional tour dates in support of his fourth studio album, Fires for the Cold, out September 13 on Yep Roc Records. The 15-date U.S. tour kicks off August 29, in New York City with stops in Nashville at AmericanaFest, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Decatur, Cambridge, amongst others. A seven-date European tour with label mate Dawn Landes is slated for December. A full list of dates is below. 

Jesse Malin has announced plans for a wide-ranging live tour, including headline dates, festival appearances, and runs alongside such like-minded artists as Justin Townes Earle and Joseph Arthur. The schedule begins August 31 with a special in-store performance at Philadelphia, PA's Main Street Music and then continues into mid-November.

Today, the young Atlanta-based multi-instrumentalist Grandma reveals'No Doors' off his upcoming debut mixtape (date tbc). The track, which includes the video (dir: Miggy), follows the releases'Shallow Water,' (+ Jackson Laurie directed video) and 'Elastic' ft Hanzo (+ Joel Nathaniel Smith directed video).
