Today, Jesse Malin announces Sunset Kids, his first studio album in four years, to be released August 30 via Wicked Cool/The Orchard/Velvet Elk. Sunset Kids, produced by Lucinda Williams and engineered by David Bianco and Geoff Sanoff, was recorded on both coasts between the two artists' touring schedules. It features two songs co-written by Lucinda Williams, as well, including the first single, 'Room 13.' 'Room 13' is referred to as 'the heart of the record, about those meditative moments far out of your comfort zone, where you're forced to reflect on the things that really matter,' says Malin.

Today, Los Angeles native Mara Connor releases her debut single 'No Fun', along with a comically droll companion music video. The track premiered by way of Buzzbands yesterday.

Joseph Arthur and Peter Buck, (of R.E.M. fame) will release their debut album, Arthur Buck, on June 15th, 2018 via New West Records. The 11-song set was produced by Joseph Arthur and mixed by Tchad Blake (U2, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, The Black Keys) with all of its songs co-written by the duo.

Legendary New Orleans soul singer Aaron Neville will headline the second annual WFUV High Line Bash on Friday, May 12, from 7-11 p.m.at Milk Studios, 450 West 15th Street in Chelsea. The moveable feast of music and food will also include performances in three beautiful loft spaces at Milk Studios by The Hold Steady leader and solo artist Craig Finn, singer-songwriter and visual artist Joseph Arthur, the jazz-inflected vocal group, The Hot Sardines, and country-rock singer Nikki Lane.

This year the Canton Symphony Orchestra is proud to bring back their favorite Kent-based band, The Speedbumps, for a third collaborative concert.  On February 11, 2017, the CSO and The Speedbumps will travel to the historic Canton Palace Theatre to show off in a truly “locally grown” concert.  They will begin at 8:00PM todaynight, and the audience will be treated to some of the band's past hits, as well as some of their new releases.  This concert is sponsored in part by the W. Henry Hoover Foundation.
