Het Amsterdamse theater DeLaMar opende 12,5 jaar geleden officieel haar deuren. Sindsdien kunnen bezoekers genieten van o.a. toneel-, cabaret- en musicalvoorstellingen. Om dit jubileum te vieren, nodigt DeLaMar op zaterdag 27 mei 2023 theaterliefhebbers uit voor een heus verjaardagsfeestje. Met als hoogtepunt: een speurtocht door het theater naar 12,5 jaar gratis theaterbezoek! Om 14:00 uur wordt het feestelijke startschot gegeven aan de Marnixstraat. Iedereen is welkom en de toegang is gratis.

The hit production TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL which is based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner and produced in association with Tina Turner herself, today (31 March 2023) announces that booking is extending to 11 February 2024 as the show celebrates 5 years in the West End.

Simone Kleinsma en Paul Groot gaan de hoofdrollen spelen in de nieuwe Nederlandse musical De Hospita. MediaLane Theater ontwikkelt deze musical comedy speciaal voor Kleinsma’s jubileumjaar. Zij speelt de flamboyante Madeleine Coutard: vroegere revuevedette en vlijmscherpe comédienne die wordt geconfronteerd met de verwarrende wereld van nu wanneer drie studenten bij haar intrekken. Paul Groot kruipt in de huid van Kimono, de extravagante oud-kostuumontwerper, huisgenoot én beste vriend van Madeleine.

Studio 100 heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat de spektakel-musical 40-45 vanaf september 2024 in Nederland te zien zal zijn. Het was Joop van den Ende die producent Gert Verhulst overtuigde om deze unieke voorstelling ook in ons land te spelen. Studio 100 is ervan overtuigd dat het verhaal van deze donkere periode absoluut verteld moet blijven worden en brengt daarom een aangepaste versie die zich in Rotterdam afspeelt. 40-45 belooft een spectaculaire voorstelling te worden over vriendschap in tijden van oorlog en over wat polarisatie teweeg kan brengen tussen mensen. Het vernieuwende technische concept met rijdende tribunes zorgt ervoor dat de toeschouwers het verhaal op een intense manier zullen beleven. De voorstelling zal exclusief te zien zijn in de Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld, het verhaal van de voorstelling speelt zich af in Rotterdam.
